England international Lauren James stole the show with a stunning hat-trick, while Sam Kerr added the decisive blow to complete the rout.
James opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a clinical finish, before doubling her tally just six minutes later. She completed her hat-trick in the second half, nodding home a cross from Kerr.
Kerr, who has been in scintillating form this season, made it 4-0 in the 70th minute with a well-taken goal. Pernille Harder completed the scoring late on to seal a resounding victory.
The result leaves Chelsea firmly in control of the title race, while Liverpool remain in seventh place.
