Dwight Yorke: Ex-Manchester United striker wants to be a football manager

Dwight Yorke, who played for Manchester United, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland and Trinidad and Tobago, has expressed his desire to become a football manager.

Yorke, who was part of the Manchester United team that won the treble in 1999, is currently working as an analyst for Sky Sports. However, he has revealed that he wants to return to management and is hoping to get a chance to prove himself. "I've always said I want to be a manager," Yorke said. "I think I've got the experience, I've got the knowledge, I've got the passion. I just need an opportunity to show what I can do." Yorke has been working towards his UEFA coaching badges and has recently been observing at Manchester United as part of his development. He is hoping to get his first managerial job in the near future and believes that he can be a success. "I'm confident in my ability," Yorke said. "I think I can be a good manager and I'm looking forward to the challenge."

Yorke is one of the most successful players to have come out of Trinidad and Tobago. He won the Premier League title three times with Manchester United and also played for Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland.

He also represented Trinidad and Tobago at the World Cup in 2006.

Since retiring from playing, Yorke has worked as a pundit for Sky Sports and has also been involved in coaching.

He is now hoping to get his first managerial job and prove that he can be a success in the dugout.
