England have claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Austria in a friendly at the Estadio Nuevo Mirador in Spain.

Beth Mead scored the only goal of the game in the 16th minute. England goalkeeper Mary Earps made several crucial saves to keep Austria out.

The result is a boost for England ahead of their Euro 2022 campaign, which starts on July 6.
